The project is built around a PIC18FL4553 microcontroller that consists of 3 programmable LEDs, reset button, power LED, and various power supply alternatives such as USB/direct 5V or other via voltage regulator.
A logic level N-channel high power MOSFET is used to create this RGB LED driver that would allow LED arrays or lamps of up to 5A per channel to be controlled without heatsink installed.
The project is another PCB design version for a bare bones PIC16Fb77 development board which allows development and testing before getting started with PIC microcontroller.
