The project was created with PIC16F84 processor to allow the decoders to see the codes that are being transmitted by the remote since every supported IR protocol has its own PIC program that will be flashed into a PIC16F84.
The project was built around a PIC16F877 microcontroller along with a single 7-segment LED display and a piezo speaker at its output for the timer circuit.
Sensing the presence and relative signal strength of wireless hotspots is made possible by building this small electronic wireless network detector project while having a feature of portability.
The project imitates the way a television works wherein an image or series of colors are blended together due to the occurrence of light pulses at a speed faster than the eyes can perceive.
