The project illustrates how a microcontroller can generate sound as it plays audio bit stream generated from MIDI files which must be converted with special Perl program.
The purpose of the project is to create a device that will take a standard headphoneaudio signal, interprets it, and outputs the voltage amplitude onto an LED bar which should change rapidly with the flow of music beat & rhythm.
The guitar amplifier project is designed to operate a 4 Ohms load while being rated with 100W as a typical combo type of amplifier that can handle two 8 Ohm speakers in parallel.
