The project is termed as Rundfunker which is a tabletop mp3 player that can scan wireless LAN for local audio and be able to play the shared audio files.
The device was designed using a SRPP 12SL7 tubes as the driver stage and SIPP KT88 tubes as the output stage to produce a Class A Ultra Linear Amplifier.
The amplifier was designed with high fidelity that was originally built by Marshall Leach with simple construction, discrete components, enough power reserve, and good parameters.
The circuit uses the functionality of vacuum tubes to create a stereo amplifier that may be used to amply signals coming from different sources such as CD or mp3 players.
The circuit was built based on a single integrated circuit TDA2050 to produce an amplifier with high fidelity since the IC is intended for use as Class AB.
