An ICSP pin header has been placed on PCB to create a programming socket for PICKit 2 programmer with the utilization of PIC16F676.
The simple project was designed to interface a PIC16F877 microcontroller to the USB bus using the FTDI FT245 USB FIFO device.
The reprogramming of the Lily main board was easily allowed by the USB to UART board that does not require the need for soldering.
An old USB mobile phone data cable was used for RS232 communication on this project with the implementation of a microcontroller using USB to RS232 converter.
The project utilizes an Atmel8 AVR as the heart of the board to create an Arduino compatible breadboard.
An LCD module DMC-16207 of 2x16 was used for prototyping the LED calculator since it uses the Hitachi chipset to produce a view around 3 ½” wide.
