Development/Testing Board for PIC Microcontrollers
|
|
Overview The project is another PCB design version for a bare bones PIC16Fb77 development board which allows development and testing before getting started with PIC microcontroller. Details The design of the board includes a 4MHz crystal, some LEDs, 7805 regulator, eight 470Ohm resistors, one 4,7K resistor, and two 22pF capacitors. For project development, this board is useful since the pin states on the LEDs are shown in an easy to read way. All the pins on the same port are next to each other so the board reorganizes the PIC pins. With either the top holes of the wire wrap sockets on the sides or the wire wrap posts underneath, the board allows easy prototyping interface with the PIC. The 4 sets of LEDs can be enabled or disabled using the 4 jumpers. To determine is a 5V or less than 5V power supply is used, another two jumpers are available. Scattered around for the jumpers are six of the squares. One pertains to accessing the 5V and Ground of the circuit. The 4 sets include one LED per I/O line, one set of 9 LEDs, and three sets of 8 LEDs in this PCB. Rest of the project
