The project will be used as a portable air monitoring device for exploring the neighborhood and urban environments for fossil fuel burning hotspots and pollution.
The project utilizes a PIC16F628A with an on-chip comparator in order to feed the output from the op-amp directly into the PIC and extract the digital signal from an RFID card reader.
Sensing the presence and relative signal strength of wireless hotspots is made possible by building this small electronic wireless network detector project while having a feature of portability.
