Another Robot Project Based on PICAXE

Overview The robot project features hacked servos being driven by using PICAXE while it shoots laser, makes sounds through a speaker, and navigates using ultrasonic sensors mounted on a servo. Details The robot is intended to be used in indoor or outdoor environments. The actuators or output devices include speaker, LEDs 2 geared motors, and 2 servos while the sensors or input devices include tilt sensor, bumper, and SRF005. It can be powered by 3 AA cells or 2V 33Mha Racing Pack. PICAXE is the operating system and PICAXE 28 is the CPU. Multiple LEDs were used in the construction which has to be connected to the output port. With further adjustments, the LEDs can be made to blink or the speaker can be made to say beep. On the tracks, tape is used for them to skid easier. The robot may suffer if using pure rubber. The movement was made smoother by adding tape while plenty of grip is still available. The motor used is a small standard mini-servo which only has a weight of 9 grams. The motor can come in different speeds and they are proven stronger when they are slower. Rest of the project
